Is there a minimum age to play Virtual Reality games?
Our recommendation is that anyone aged 7 and above will enjoy our VR games.
Can we try before we buy?
Yes, provided we aren’t fully booked we would be happy to give you a brief 5-minute introduction to the VR world. Come on in and find out more!
When should I arrive for my booking?
We advise that you arrive 5 minutes before the time of your booking.
Will you help us choose which VR games to play?
Yes. We are on hand to make suggestions and recommendations so that the games you choose are both great fun and age-appropriate.
I understand that you offer both Team VR and Room Scale VR games. What does this mean?
Team VR games are games that you can enjoy with friends in our seated Virtual Reality area. Room Scale VR games allow you to move around the room while you play.
I have booked VR for a small group, will we all be in the same room?
While we are operating under Covid-safe guidelines and implementing social distancing at our centres, it may not be possible to play altogether in the same room. At our Aylesbury centre for example, we can accommodate up to three people in our seated VR room, while our standing VR rooms can accommodate either one or two players. It’s worth considering that once you have entered your chosen virtual world, you will be fully immersed within an entirely different time and place! The proximity of friends will therefore be immaterial 🙂 unless you’re playing a team game, in which case you’ll be able to communicate via the game.
I have never played a VR game before, will I know what to do?!
You don’t need to be a computer-whiz or have any previous VR experience to play our games. All our games are easy to follow but still fun and challenging to master! Our staff will help you get set up and explain what you need to do; they can also answer any questions you might have during your session if you need any help.
Is there somewhere to get food and drinks while we are there?
Yes, we have cafes at all our venues serving a range of hot and cold food and drinks.
What is your cancellation policy and do you offer refunds?
For bookings cancelled between 20 March and 31 August 2020, we are not able to offer refunds but are happy to give you a voucher entitling you to rebook your activity at another time to suit you. Please note that once you have re-scheduled your booking, we cannot offer any subsequent date amendments.
For bookings made from 1 September 2020 onwards, we are pleased to say that we can offer refunds in the event a booking needs to be cancelled; we appreciate that the ongoing restrictions around COVID-19 create uncertainty and plans may change as a result.
SHOULD OUR CENTRES HAVE TO CLOSE SHOULD LOCKDOWN MEASURES BE RE-INTRODUCED, FULL REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
