MISSION: SPY CATCHER FAQ
Is the game safe to play during this period affected by the coronavirus pandemic?
Yes. This escape game is all outside, which is widely acknowledged to be the safest place to be. All clues and props that we use are cleaned after every game and we offer protective gloves if you wish to wear them. We do ask that everyone adheres to social distancing rules where appropriate and reserve the right to cancel a game if players are not adhering to the guidelines.
How long does Spy Catcher take to play?
The game itself is one hour in duration.
What time should we arrive and where should we meet?
You should arrive 10 minutes before your time slot so that we can brief you on all elements of the game before you set off. The meeting point is outside each VIRE centre, you can find the addresses on our LOCATIONS page if you are not familiar with where we are. One of our games marshals will be there to greet you.
What should we wear?
Light comfortable clothing is usually best including comfortable shoes such as trainers. In the event of adverse weather conditions, it would be advisable to bring wet weather gear.
Can I add or remove people from my booking?
Yes you may add people to your booking – just call us on 0330 303 0880.
What happens if we are late?
We will try and run the whole game for you although we will not allow any subsequent games to be affected by a group over-running. Please aim to arrive promptly allowing for any traffic delays.
Can we buy any refreshments?
Unfortunately we are unable to open our centres at present due to government restrictions, so we advise that you bring your own refreshments including water to take with you.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
For bookings cancelled between 20 March and 31 August 2020, we are not able to offer refunds but are happy to give you a voucher entitling you to rebook your activity at another time to suit you. Please note that once you have re-scheduled your booking, we cannot offer any subsequent date amendments.
For bookings made from 1 September 2020 onwards, we are pleased to say that we can offer refunds in the event a booking needs to be cancelled; we appreciate that the ongoing restrictions around COVID-19 create uncertainty and plans may change as a result.
What happens after the game?
Every group will receive their time and a certificate. GOOD LUCK!
