In the grounds of beautiful Berkhamsted Castle

It is July 1216 and the armies of the French Prince Louis, self-proclaimed ruler of England, are massing outside the castle, intent on claiming it for themselves and defeating the King’s men who are taking cover inside. The siege of Berkhamsted Castle will commence shortly and when the castle flag disappears from sight, Prince Louis will start the bombardment.

Join King John for an exciting adventure game at historic Berkhamsted Castle, an English Heritage site.
Find the old parchment hidden in the castle grounds, which indicates the location of a secret tunnel under the moat, and escape before the castle is besieged by Prince Louis.

Will you succeed and escape in time?
