Is the game COVID-safe?
Yes. This game is all outside. You also use your own phones. All players will be asked to sanitise their hands before they start the game. We will keep a stock of masks and gloves for players to purchase at cost if they wish.
How long does A December to Remember take to play?
The game itself is one hour in duration.
How do I get hold of the app?
You will be sent a download for our specially designed Christmas app before the game. Everyone with a phone can play the game.
Will my mobile be compatible with the app?
The app works on most modern smartphones, however we highly recommend you check your phone is compatible. Please click here to see a full list of compatible mobile phones.
What time should we arrive and where should we meet?
You should arrive 10 minutes before your time slot so that we can brief you on all elements of the game before you set off. The meeting point is outside each VIRE centre, you can find the addresses on our LOCATIONS page if you are not familiar with where we are. One of our games marshals will be there to greet you.
What should we wear?
Light comfortable clothing is usually best including comfortable shoes such as trainers and layers if it is cold. In the event of adverse weather conditions, it would be advisable to bring wet weather gear.
Can I add or remove people from my booking?
Yes you may add people to your booking – just call us on 0330 303 0880. Please adhere to the most current government guidelines with regards to mixing of households.
What happens if we are late?
We will try and run the whole game for you although we will not allow any subsequent games to be affected by a group over-running. Please aim to arrive promptly allowing for any traffic delays.
Can we buy any refreshments?
Yes, you will be able to buy water, soft drinks, crisps and chocolate bars at the start and finish of your game. You can also enjoy a cup of our legendary hot chocolate at the end of your game – just place the order before you start.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
For bookings made from 1 September 2020 onwards, we are pleased to say that we can offer refunds in the event an activity has to be cancelled due to changes in government restrictions. Should you need to cancel your booking for any other reason, we can offer you the chance to re-schedule your booking to another time, however activities can only be re-scheduled once.
What happens after the game?
Every group will receive their time and a certificate.
